Hey guys! Things have been really busy! As you know, I went to St. Louis last week, and had a lot of fun. I went to a lot of cool places. Forest Park was incredible, I had no idea it was so big! We went to the zoo with a few other people and that was cool. The art museum had some pretty neat stuff in it, too.

I also went to places like Fitz's, which has the BEST root beer I've tasted. It's so good. They bottle their own root beer and other sodas. It's delish. ALSO I went to Ted Drewe's. They have AMAZING custard there....I can't even describe it. It's been featured on Food Network many, many times. Oh and I also went to Crown Candy. Apparently it's the first place where soda was sold in St. Louis.

I also went to the top of the arch, which was really neat. The windows were really tiny so you had to lean over and look through them. And it was reeeeally high. Which was awesome.

So yeah! It was a really good trip, I had a lot of fun. For the fourth of July I'm either going to the lake house in Missouri or staying at home and grilling out.

There are a lot of new movies out, like Eclipse, The Last Airbender, etc. The Last Airbender looks really, really cool. I have yet to see Toy Story, which I definitely should, it got rave reviews (like Disney Pixar always does). Summer is usually the time when more fun, family movies come out. TV shows are on break (except for shows like Burn Notice, which is awesome), so people watch more movies than anything. Hopefully I'll have the time to catch up on my movie-watching reviews.

Hope your summer is going well!

Hey guys!

I just got back from a vacation Sunday. I was in Tulsa, Oklahoma to visit my best friend, Caroline. Tulsa has quite a large downtown. I didn't expect Tulsa to have one that large. And there are so many churches there! The ones downtown are really pretty.

I drove up on Friday and when I got there Caroline and I went to get frozen yogurt. After, she drove me around where she lives for a few hours. There are a lot of plantation houses in Oklahoma. They're really nice, have huge lawns, and are located in the most random places. Once the tour was over we went to Los Cabos, a Mexican restaurant. It took about 30 minutes to wait to get a table, but once we were seated the food was really good. We went back to her house and then went on a walk through a nature trail. There were lots of people playing Frisbee Golf outside. I wish I could throw a frisbee that far, those guys can really hurl it. I can barely throw accurately at 10 feet.

The next day we went to the zoo! Here are some of the pictures I took:

I haven't been to a zoo in about 10 years, give or take. So this was pretty cool to see. After the zoo we went to the mall and walked around for a bit. Caroline introduced me to the TV show "Glee". The next day I was homeward bound!

Next week I make my way up to St. Louis. I'll be there for 5 days total. I'm driving up with my friend Katie, who lives in Kansas. I'm very excited for the trip :)

Anyway, hope your summer is going well! Until next time!
